Sabastian Kloss is a 2020 RHP/OF with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Milwaukee, WI who attends Whitnall. Ran a 7.54 second sixty-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher with a medium frame and some present strength in the lower half. Starts from the windup with a small side step, into a leg lift that reaches just above the belt. Uses drop and drive actions down the mound, landing on line at foot strike and getting good extension over the front side. Has a short and compact arm stroke, with quick arm speed from an over the top slot. Fastball has some late life, hiding it well and allowing it to really get on hitters at 80-to-84 miles per hour. Shows an ability to pitch up in the zone effectively, mixing speeds with a sweeping slider with tight shape at 74 miles per hour. Shows developing command of the strike zone. Secondary outfielder that has an aggressive close to the ball, fielding off to the side with a quick exchange to throw. Has some present arm strength, keeping the ball low and making accurate throws from a three-quarter slot at 84 miles per hour. Has an even stance at the plate, with a high hand set and leg lift trigger. Has a line drive barrel plane with some present barrel speed, driving off the backside with a linear shift to contact. Has a middle of the field approach, swinging with intent to drive the ball on a line. Named to 2019 Midwest Prospect Showcase, Top Prospect List.
