Xavier Cintron is a 2021 SS/2B, MIF, OF with a 5-6 150 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Cornerstone Charter Academy. Shorter athletic frame with room to easily add strength. A primary infielder who worked out at second base at the top prospect games. light feet, shifty and showed range, stays back when straight up showing a quick transfer and release, can lower slot, accurate, turns at the bag well, solid defensive ability in the middle. Switch-hitter who showed ability from both sides. Right-handed he used a mostly middle to opposite field approach. Narrow stance with a leg lift, flat path, looking to spray and run. Left-handed he showed good timing to get extended, leg lift and solid weight shift, got to plane earlier in process. Stayed to the middle with some drive, tipped and turned quickly, tight to body with some flick to the barrel. Accurate round. Top of the order offensive upside.
