Noah Espinoza is a 2019 C/ with a 5-9 190 lb. frame from Anaheim, CA who attends Mater Dei. Medium frame with broad shoulders and a solid build. Primary catcher with a balanced stance while receiving the baseball. Loose footwork while working out of crouched and gaining ground towards the bag. Receives the baseball out front and worked through exchange efficiently. Carries weight to glove side while releasing form a mid three-quarters arm slot. Throws produced carry to the bag at 74 miles per hour, best workout pop time of 1.96. Right handed hitter with a spread, open stance and lower hand set. Stack weight on back side at load and worked to contact with rotational actions. Loose, uphill barrel plane through extension and employed a gag to gap approach. Looked to consistently lift the baseball and created some hard contact off the barrel when on time and squared. Good student as well.
