Tyree Reed is a 2021 OF with a 6-2 181 lb. frame from Vallejo, CA who attends American Canyon. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and a high waist, long limbs with lots of physical projection moving forward with room to fill. Fast-twitch, posted a 6.69 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, does a nice job of fielding the ball out front and works through the ball, will continue to refine overall footwork and lower half mechanics, compact and fast arm through the back, ball comes out cleanly and shows big arm strength and carry. Lefthanded hitter, begins with a slightly open stance and a high hand set and back elbow in the box. Short and direct path to the ball with fast hands, gets extended out front and shows looseness to his swing throughout. Generates separation at point of contact and shows jump off the barrel to the middle of the field, shows a sound approach in game. Has loud tools across the board and projects very well. Excellent student.
