Devin Greaff is a 2018 SS/2B with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Crosby, TX who attends Crosby High School. Younger player with a lean, slender build, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted a 7.45 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, fielded out front with a quick release. Clean transfer skills with raw arm strength and accuracy across the diamond. At the plate, started with an upright stance, closed base, and a simple leg lift timing mechanism. Clean swing mechanics with a line drive swing plane and ability to find the barrel. Occasional weight shift to the ball with an extended swing path. Showed quickness to hands with developing bat speed. Up the middle and pull side approach.
