Austin Neese is a 2027 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Sugar Hill, GA who attends North Gwinnett. Recorded a 7.32 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman and showed clean footwork and actions in the infield. Took good angles to grounders and good pace with fluidity. Has a sure glove and easy arm strength across the diamond. Right-handed hitter and starts from a wide base with slightly open feet. Uses a subtle hovering leg lift to initiate swing and lower-half is rotational. Torques it well and swing has very simple mechanics. Repeated swing well and stayed on the barrel. Stays short and showed strength at the point of contact. Recorded an exit velocity of 85 mph. Named to the 2023 National Underclass Showcase- Main Event Top Prospect List.
