Hunter Hiett is a 2020 C/MIF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Cape Girardeau, MO who attends Cape Girardeau Central HS. Medium athletic build with very good present strength for his age. Right handed hitter, very exaggerated open stance that creates inconsistencies in timing, has strength in his swing with very good extension through contact, showed plenty of power when everything was on time, approach makes him vulnerable on the outside half, has the tools to keep improving with adjustments. 7.23 runner, is athletic with his lower half and hands both in the infield and behind the plate, extreme over the top arm action will need adjustments and does not look like his natural slot, arm action works better behind the plate than in the infield. Very good athlete for his age and will keep improving as he learns to keep his fundamentals and direction simple. Good student.
