Jesse Gadd is a 2021 1B/3B with a 6-3 215 lb. frame from Bermuda Dunes, CA who attends La Quinta. Recorded a 7.34 second sixty-yard dash time. Large, well-proportioned frame with present strength and some athleticism. Primary first baseman with agile footwork around the bag, fairly quick turns and accurate throws to the bags. Well-engaged lower half with clean funnel out in front and smooth transfers. Secondary infielder with deliberate actions into and through the fielding process. Incorporates strong lower half to funnel out in front, working into an over-the-top arm slot. Arm strength recorded up to 72 mph across the diamond. Left-handed hitter that hits from an even stance with a pre-set hand load, high back elbow and toe-tap trigger. Aggressive approach with leverage stroke, present bat speed and the ability to impact the baseball with authority. Fairly consistent bat-to-ball skills with some length in the swing path but swing translates well into game with loud impact and carry to the gaps.
