Eli Kapkowski is a 2022 C/3B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from St Petersburg, FL who attends Calvary Christian. Larger frame with present strength and physicality in the lower half. Ran a 7.25 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, worked out behind the dish with good use of the strong lower half, has soft hands and quickness to the exchange, gets rid of it quickly with an easy release that allows him to stay accurate with throws and turn out good pop times. Right-handed hitter, sets up spread open with a deep hand load, has good bat speed on a longer path to contact and strength in the swing that he is able to use well when he gets the barrel head out consistently. Outstanding student.
