Charles Stephenson is a 2019 SS/RHP/2B with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Columbus, GA who attends Northside HS. Medium and athletic frame. Ran a 7.14 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop, takes easy movements to the baseball playing the ball from the ground up, gathers momentum well into his release, showcased the ability to throw from multiple arm angles with good arm strength across the diamond, topped out at 88 mph from shortstop. Secondary righthanded pitcher, some effort to delivery with multiple checkpoints as he works to the plate, releases from a high 3/4 arm slot, fastball is straight and topped out at 87 mph. Righthanded hitter, sets up to hit with a slightly open stance, quick and compact stroke, hands work directly to the baseball with no wasted movements, flashed strength to the pull side with loud contact when squared.
