Victor Drago is a 2019 SS/RHP/IF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Memorial HS. Solid athletic build with some present strength and more to come. 7.11 runner, showed lateral range with good balance, has some smoothness to his actions, can throw from different angles well with a quick release and good arm strength. Right handed hitter, exaggerated high back elbow that stays up a bit long, big leg kick trigger, lots going on pre-swing, upper body swing with a mid to opposite field orientation, does square up the ball well, more there offensively with adjustments. Also pitched, easy low effort delivery, gets good use of his lower half, high 3/4's arm slot with good extension and direction out front. Fastball topped out at 83 mph, mostly straight with occasional arm side life to it, soft curveball has good 11/5 depth. Good student.
