Cole Gibson is a 2021 SS/2B with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Lakeway, TX who attends Lake Travis. Medium frame with length in limbs and room to add. Ran a 7.58 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary infielder. Moves well laterally and shows range to both sides. Smooth fielding actions out front with soft hands. Clean transfers into a quick release. Throws with carry across the diamond at 78 miles per hour. Righthanded hitter with a bent stance to start. Big shift into contact working mostly to the opposite field. Line drive path through the zone with repeatable mechanics. Very good student as well.
