Cade Wilson is a 2020 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Mobile, AL who attends Faith Academy. Recorded a 6.84 second 60-yard dash time and the athleticism shone on defense. Younger frame and look with plenty of room for physical development. Primary shortstop with deliberate actions and clean glove side mechanics. Athleticism plays well and showed good lateral quickness. Accurate throws across with arm strength up to 79 mph. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a shorter arm action and a compact arm circle. Clean follow through on the front side and throws from a higher three-quarters arm slot. Drop and drive mechanic to generate good push through the lower half. Fastball up to 78 mph and flashes cutting life on the glove side of the plate. Maintained arm speed on the curveball. Righthanded hitter with an open and upright stance. Gets out of the box quickly with a fluid swing path. Line drive swing plane with quiet hands and a hanging leg lift trigger. Found the barrel well in game with a gap-to-gap approach. Great student.
