Troy Ford is a 2025 OF/2B/SS with a 5-10 154 lb. frame from Fayetteville, GA who attends Acellus Academy. Smaller young athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. 6.44 runner in the sixty, speed impacts the game on both sides of the ball. Primary outfielder on defense, has big range in all directions and can cover the gaps, compact arm actions, tends to throw uphill, center field profile and tools. Also plays the infield and may have a higher ceiling at second base with work, plays light on his feet and has bouncy actions with lots of range, arm plays better in the infield, lack of repetitions leads to some mistakes with his hands but this can be worked on. Switch-hitter at the plate, better bat speed with more explosion at the ball from the left side, more of a contact swing right handed with more moving parts leading into the swing. Has some Ryan Bliss (Mariners) in his athleticism and game. Very good student, verbal commitment to Alabama Birmingham.
