Tyler Bak is a 2023 OF/LHP with a 5-11 150 lb. frame from Sugar Hill, GA who attends North Gwinnett. Slender young athletic build with lots of physical growth ahead of him. 6.89 runner in the sixty. Showed good athleticism in the outfield moving to the baseball, quick exchange and release on his throws, full arm action with an over the top arm slot, has some young carry on his throws. Left handed hitter, moves into contact well with his lower half, deep hand load, fires his hands and hips well and creates some bat speed, is aggressive attacking the ball and gets nice extension through contact, can drive the gaps, projects very well as a hitter. Also pitched, pretty simple delivery with a high 3/4's arm slot, good pace and direction to the plate. Fastball topped out at 81 mph, mostly straight with occasional arm side life. Showed tight spin on a downer curveball that has late biting action. Very nice change up especially for a secondary pitcher, has three pitches he can throw for strikes. Good student. Named to the National Underclass Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.
