Justus Revill is a 2021 SS/RHP with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Frost, TX who attends Blooming Grove. Athletic build with long limbs and a high waist. Ran a 7.28 second sixty-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary infielder. Displayed athletic actions with quick footwork while working to and through the baseball. Showed low out front funnels with confident glove actions to go along with good range when working to both sides of the infield. Flashed good arm strength with accurate carry to the bases topping out at 82 MPH to first base. Right handed hitter. Employs an upright slightly open stance with a leg lift trigger. Showed a short hand path to the baseball with rotational upper half mechanics looking to drive the baseball to the pull side. Displayed good barrel control creating consistently driven line drives to the pull side throughout batting practice. Also pitched at the event. Employs a small side step to a belt high leg lift staying tall on the back side going to drop and drive actions down the mound landing online with a shorter stride and staying online through finish. Showed a long, loose arm action in the back going to an extended three-quarter slot at release. Showed a fastball with good downhill plane and feel for the zone up to 80 MPH complemented by a 11/5 curveball thrown for consistent strikes at 68 MPH. Great student.
