Kayson Cunningham is a 2025 SS/2B with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends Johnson. Medium athletic build with some present strength. Left handed hitter, hits from a comfortable athletic stance with good rhythm in his load, times his leg lift well, very connected swing with outstanding bat speed, has a very advanced ability to swing hard and control the barrel, hard contact to all fields, has big power and he turns and lifts, highest level hitter. Primary middle infielder on defense, is light and bouncy on his feet, smooth actions with plenty of range, throws well on the run and can generate carry when he plants his feet. Also worked out in the outfield but is a pure middle infielder. DIdn't run the sixty but was 6.54 at PG Junior National last year. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Texas. Selected to play in the Perfect Game All-American Classic.
