Reese Strickland is a 2023 OF/RHP with a 6-1 163 lb. frame from Cumming, GA who attends West Forsyth. Large frame with a lean build showing room to fill out physically down the road. Ran a 7.56 second sixty yard dash. Primary Outfielder, sitting back a bit before working into route. Slows momentum down at gather to make sure he scoops it up. Transfers and releases from a lower slot. Up to 74 mph during drills. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working with a big side step to a balanced leg lift before working down the hill. Long arm stroke as he released from a three-quarter slot. Creates some deception as the arm stroke gets tucked behind the head. Fastball up to 75 mph as he lived down in the zone. Breaking ball showing vertical movements that he landed for strikes. Right-Handed Hitter, starting with a somewhat wider base with hands just off the back shoulder. Knee to knee leg lift as he strides out while creating separation. Fires the hips and hands as he stays linear through the zone. Finishes a big up high as gets extended through the baseball. Showed barrel control in games as he doubled during the action. Outstanding Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
