Mason Mock is a 2023 3B/RHP with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Black Creek, GA who attends Effingham County. Medium frame with some strength present. Ran an 8.69 second 60 yard dash. Primary third baseman, worked out in the infield sitting back on the baseball, bends at the waist with low effort actions, hands are playable out in front, releases the baseball with developing arm strength that will continue to improve with maturity. Secondary righthanded pitcher, simple turn and fire delivery beginning with a side step up to a low leg lift, takes arm back to a full arm action up to a high ¾ arm slot, arm works throwing with intent at release, fastball flashed varying life to both arm and glove side up to 73 mph, mixed in a developing curveball. Righthanded hitter, sets up at the plate with a slightly open stance and a high hand set, takes a short stride into contact shifting some weight, loose hands that work to the ball, hits the baseball out in front with a line drive swing plane and pull side approach. Good student.
