Cade Peterson is a 2026 SS/RHP with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Lake Mary, FL who attends Lake Mary. Athletic, long levered frame with some present strength and plenty of room to physically mature. Primary middle-infielder with some bounce in his step; displayed clean, fluid actions to field out in-front with good lower half usage into release. Recorded online, accurate throws up to 78 mph across the diamond. Secondary right-handed pitcher that worked from a full windup delivery. Slower, deliberate pace into a belt high leg lift and good stride length out to foot strike. Incorporates lower half well, creating torque and separation. Fastball worked in the mid-to-upper 70s for the majority of his outing and topped out at 79 mph from an over-the-top arm slot. Proficient strike thrower with heavy fastball and good command to both sides of the plate. Flashed short, tight breaking ball with slight horizontal tilt to it. Tons of upside remaining on the mound as he physically matures and adds strength. Right-handed hitter that hits from a narrow, slightly open stance with bent knees and a hanging leg lift trigger for timing. Whole field approach with compact bat speed and some feel for the barrel. Generates good separation and lift when on-time and in-sync with best impact to the right centerfield gap. Solid overall skill set with good fundamentals and upside on both sides of the ball.
