Bryce Johnson is a 2021 3B/RHP with a 6-4 200 lb. frame from Fairview, TX who attends McKinney. Ran a 7.28 second sixty-yard dash. Primary third baseman with an athletic frame and build. Has clean footwork, showing off impressive range to the glove side at times. Has some present arm strength with a clean funnel and transition to throws up to 84 miles per hour. Secondary outfielder has outstanding footwork and a quick first step, with a clean approach and gather in the fielding actions. Plays through the ball well, making strong throws with accurate carry to bases at 88 miles per hour. Tall stance at the plate, with a limited shift into contact and rotational lower half from the right side. Has a line drive barrel plane, keeping the hands in the zone and making good contact out front when getting the hands extended. Secondary right-handed pitcher that has the ability to fill up the strike zone out of the stretch. Has a strong lower half, with a whippy arm action from a high three-quarter slot. Gets some natural arm side run to the fastball at 83-to-86 miles per hour, and flashes some tilt to a tight slider at 73 miles per hour. Louisiana-Lafayette commit. Good student.
