Carson Ray is a 2026 SS/RHP/2B with a 6-0 173 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends Woodward Academy. Strong, athletic frame with broad shoulders and size in each half of the frame. Ran a 7.20 60-yard dash. Primary infielder, solid hands and footwork, up to 91-mph across the diamond, clean funnel to mid body exchange out front, athletic mover with a good arm, plays very smooth in game with lateral range and fluid movements. Right-handed hitter, even base with open front side, knee lift trigger to square, present bat speed and impact, exit velocity of 93-mph off the tee, impact out front, projects with the bat. Chance to stick on the left side of the infield with arm strength and a good internal clock, bat will continue to improve and uptick. Good student. Named to the 2024 Southeast Uncommitted Top Prospect List.
