Finley Spicer is a 2022 3B/RHP/IF with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Carthage, NC who attends Union Pines. Long and lean frame. Ran a 7.69 second 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, worked out in the infield with good lower half actions, gets in a good position to field it and shows confidence with the glove, adjusting slot well to create accurate throws across. Worked out in the outfield as well playing behind the ball and creating good carry to throws. Also pitched, has good arm speed through a high three-quarters slot as the fastball plays true to velocity with feel for a firm breaking ball. Righthanded hitter, sets up open and uses a big stride into contact, works with good intent and some quickness to the swing on a level plane while lifting the ball to the middle of the field with some strength and carry when squared. Outstanding student.
