Kyree Alexander is a 2022 C/2B with a 5-8 140 lb. frame from Hazel Crest, IL who attends Thornwood. Recorded a 7.20 second 60 yard dash time. Smaller frame with a lean and athletic build. Primary catcher, stays low on the set up and explodes out of his stance. Gains ground athletically and with balance, very fluid and athletic lower half movements. Low throws on the bag, developing arm strength. Secondary second baseman with a short arm action and good footwork. Smooth glove work on the back hand, some suddenness in the lower half, solid actions and round overall. Athletic and twitchy prospect that can play both positions. Right-handed hitter with small leg lift trigger and even hand set, simple operation overall. Direct swing path, low effort swing that's repeatable and consistent. Stays to the middle on a line drive plane, solid contact each time. Contact-oriented hitter that hits to all fields. Good student. Western Illinois commit.
