Nathan Hayworth is a 2024 OF/RHP/MIF with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Rockwell, NC who attends East Rowan. Lean young build with lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with his hands tight to start, gets on plane for a long time, swings aggressively and creates good bat speed, squares it up often and flashed some pull side jump in the games. 6.78 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, has a quick and compact arm action and makes accurate, on line throws with a quick release, athletic actions through the ball, has the tools to play centerfield at the next level. Also worked out in the infield, lesser fundamentals but the same type of athleticism and arm. Took a turn on the mound, works from a compact side step delivery, hides the ball very well. Fastball topped out at 84 mph, mostly straight. Threw a slurve type breaking ball for his off speed. Nice all around athlete who will keep improving as he gets stronger. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
