Bryson Morrill is a 2020 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Trophy Club, TX who attends Byron Nelson. Medium frame with a lean, athletic build. Ran a 7.01 second sixty yard dash. Primary middle infielder, showed athletic characteristics doing a good job of working around the baseball, flashed good range with a solid glove, made every play with ease while showing off a strong arm with accuracy from all arm angles. Secondary righthanded pitcher, worked with a short turn step before utilizing a shorter leg lift, loose arm action throwing from a high 3/4 arm slot, gets on top of the baseball well, showed off his athleticism with an easy delivery, three pitch arsenal with his fastball showing sink and arm side run due to arm slot sitting upper-70's topping at 80, slider showing sharpness looking like a fastball out of hand sitting right at 70 with a changeup being work in progress in the upper-60's. Righthanded hitter, spread open stance while open, flat bat path showing some bat speed, utilizes lower half well, middle of the field approach showing confidence in game making loud contact. Good student.
