Nathan Billings is a 2019 RHP with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Rancho Cucamonga, CA who attends Rancho Cucamonga HS. Nice athletic build with some present strength and room for more. Severe cross body delivery, kicks his leg out late, long arm action to a high 3/4's to over the top release point, spins off his heel on landing, very difficult mechanics to get the ball to the glove side from. Fastball topped out at 78 mph, mostly straight and arm side, has been up to 82 mph at PG tournaments this summer. Short slurve type slider that is better with deeper shape at lower velocities. Will need to get better direction to the plate to take advantage of his natural arm strength. Good student.
