Nick Hill is a 2019 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Marietta, GA who attends Walton. Tall and athletic frame, really projectable with lots of room to fill with added strength. Ran a 7.84 second 60 yard dash. Primary lefthanded pitcher, high leg lift up above belt line that throws delivery off balance at times, slight pause at the balance point, tighter arm action up, creates some angle and hides the ball well through the arm circle, showed good mobility off of the mound fielding his position well. Mixed three pitches, fastball topped out at 78 with varying life both to arm side and sinking at times, changeup was inconsistent in terms of command but the arm slot was lowered on the pitch, curveball is developing spin in the upper-60s. Secondary first baseman, fields the ball high with soft hands, bounces off the bag well, short arm action throws with average arm strength to third base. Lefthanded hitter, narrow stance to start, big leg lift trigger into swing, some quickness to hands, looks to pull with a dead pull side approach, stays on plane nicely. Good student.
