Foster Engelhardt is a 2020 3B/RHP, C, 1B with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from North Richland Hills, TX who attends Keller. Large frame with a stocky build and present strength. Ran a 7.82 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary third baseman. Smooth hands out front with a funnel in. Works through exchanges and towards the bag. Compact arm action with online carry at 82 miles per hour. Also worked out as a catcher. Sets up in a side straddle stance. Receives out front with longer exchanges in the back. Gains short ground out and towards the bag. Works to stay compact with action but can get a little long at times. Accurate to the bag at 74 miles per hour and popping a 2.15. Righthanded hitter with a slightly open stance and high hand set. Utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing. Rotational upper half dominate swing. Looks to elevate the ball at contact with an uphill barrel path. Creates hard jump off the barrel when getting squared up. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a quick front turn step into a leg lift slightly above the belt. Lands in line to the plate with a balanced delivery. Quick arm circle into a compact three-quarter arm slot. Straight fastball in the zone topping out at 81 miles per hour. Solid secondary option in the breaking ball able to land for quality strikes in the lower half of the zone.
