2019 Rocky Mountain Showcase
Jacob Miller-Bopp is a 2022 MIF/RHP, 3B with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Barhamsville, VA who attends Walsingham Academy Upper Schoo. Compact frame with athleticism throughout and time to continue to mature physically. Ran a 7.44 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary middle infielder. Fields with a deep funnel in and quickness to hands. Longer exchanges keeping the momentum working towards the target. Currently limited with arm action topping out at 79 MPH. Righthanded hitter with a slightly open stance to start. High hand set at load. Linear drift early into a rotational finish. Gets barrel through on a flatter plane. Looks mostly to the pull side but can spin off too much occasionally. Line drive contact showing raw feel for the barrel. Secondary righthanded pitcher with a shorter side step delivery into a leg lift above the belt. Lands in line to the plate. Mostly straight fastball sitting in the upper 70's and topping out at 80 MPH. Occasionally goes to a 12-to-6 curveball with some tightness to spin.
