Garrett Glasscock is a 2019 C/OF with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from New Braunfels, TX who attends Canyon. Medium frame with a solid build. Projects for additional strength. Primary catcher with a balanced, athletic stance while receiving. Soft hands while funneling and worked through exchange with quick, clean actions. Generated on line momentum to the bag and released from a compact arm slot. Throws produced accurate carry to the bag topping at 75 miles per hour, best workout pop time of 1.99. Right handed hitter with a balanced, even stance. Shifts into contact with linear lower half actions. Simple, direct hand path to contact with a naturally lifted barrel plane through extension. Primarily worked to the middle of the field between the gaps but flashed the bat speed to turn the barrel and work to pull side with authority as well. Very good student.
