Jack Schell is a 2019 SS/2B with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends St. Thomas HS. Medium frame with slender, athletic build. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.01 seconds. Wraps hands/barrel back deep into load, swing has some length out as a result, hands work well through swing with looseness, line drive swing plane, made consistent contact and showed the ability to work to all fields. Showed well defensively in the infield, swivels hips well and shows athletic movements to and through the ball, funnel gets a bit deep at times, very good arm strength on throws, clocked up to 87 mph across the diamond. Good student.
