Reagan Guthrie is a 2020 C/3B/SS with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Rancho Santa Fe, CA who attends Cathedral Catholic HS. Medium athletic build, has some present strength with more to come. 7.15 runner, makes good reads on the bases and uses his speed well. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance with good balance and shift into contact, has some lift in his swing with some upper body lean and creates bat speed, ball comes off his barrel well with gap to gap power, showed the ability to battle at the plate and foul off pitches. Good arm strength behind the plate, sets up low behind the plate and has some bounce in his lower half actions, makes accurate throws and repeats his mechanics well. Good all around player who should keep developing in all areas. Good student.
