Jaxon Brooks is a 2022 3B/SS with a 6-1 215 lb. frame from Burlington, IA who attends Mediapolis. Large frame and physical build with present strength. Primary third baseman, showed improved lateral range with quick and active feet. Gets into good fielding positions and shows some softness to hands, actions look smoother than before. Right-handed hitter with an even base and a high hand and back elbow set, utilizes a small stride forward and has a slight hitch in the hand load. Short and compact swing path, swing is driven by the upper body, can improve impact potential by utilizing the lower half more actively. Has big power potential and created hard contact during the game. Great student. Mesa CC commit.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
