Garrett Knight is a 2019 RHP/MIF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Florence, TX who attends Salado HS. Medium build with plenty of room to get stronger. High leg lift delivery, gets his hips turned well at his gather point, short arm circle in back coming to a high 3/4's slot, accelerates well through release. Fastball topped out at 82 mph, gets some run and sink on his fastball. Nice arm speed and feel for his change up, also showed the ability to create tight spin on his curveball with 11/5 shape. Three pitch starter profile with a sound delivery who threw strikes. 7.38 runner, moved well on defense in the infield and showed good athleticism, can throw from different arm slots and on the move. Right handed hitter, gets loaded late with his hands, middle of the field contact approach when on time. Good student.
