Karson Cummins is a 2020 1B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Lewisville, TX who attends Lewisville HS. Large frame with broad shoulders and present strength. Primary first baseman with smooth paced, deliberate footwork while ranging for and centering the baseball. Fluid glove actions while funneling out front and working through exchange. Displayed developing accuracy while throwing across the infield topping at 73 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, open stance and large leg lift trigger. Aggressively shifts lower half into contact with linear actions. Created some coil with top half at load and works to baseball with a loose hand path. Generated a naturally lifted barrel plane through extension and showed good raw pop off the barrel when on time and squared. Primarily looked to throw barrel head to baseball and work to the middle of the field and pull side gap. Very good student as well.
