Nathan Riffe is a 2022 RHP/3B, OF with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Troy, MI who attends Athens. Recorded a 7.55 second 60 yard dash time. Large frame with present strength that projects well. Primary right-handed pitcher, gets into the back hip and stays directional, good lower half drive. Some effort to the operation, shows good feel for the changeup and tumbles it, also showed a quality slider. Still developing command but was around the zone enough. Great projection and chance to improve with added refinement. Secondary third baseman with a short arm action and some zip across the infield. Turns well and shows balance, made all the plays and looked good on the charge. Right-handed hitter, shows a simple operation and keeps the hands close to the body. Middle of the field approach with good jump off the barrel, has a quick bat and is able to elevate the ball. Developing consistency within the swing, definite power projection. Great student. Named to the 2021 National Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
