Conor Shaughnessy is a 2018 LHP/OF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Del Norte HS. Medium athletic build. Compact fast paced delivery with a short arm takeaway in back and a short stride in front, 3/4's arm slot, rotational upper half and tends to fall off to third base on release and pull the ball across his body. Fastball topped out at 78 mph, maintained velocity well, works low in the zone consistently with short arm side running action, can get the ball in on right handed hitters hands due to his delivery. Short mid-60's curveball was effective and thrown for strikes. Left handed hitter with a short rotational swing, pull to mid field contact, swings hard and flashed some pop to the right centerfield gap. 7.47 runner. Good student.
