Luke Denos is a 2021 MIF/RHP/OF with a 6-2 162 lb. frame from El Cajon, CA who attends Cathedral Catholic. Tall and slender build, lots of room to get stronger. 7.16 runner, played both the infield and outfield and showed better actions in the outfield, has long easy strides to the ball, tall release with some carry on his throws, makes on line accurate throws. Has soft hands in the infield but tends to get off balance at the ball, showed good lower half quickness in the infield. Left handed hitter, has quick hands from an even stance, good extension out front through contact, good direction and balance at contact, has looseness to his swing and can create backspin. Projects well as a hitter with additional strength. Good student.
