David Bauer is a 2022 OF/SS with a 5-9 146 lb. frame from Fort Lauderdale, FL who attends Cardinal Gibbons. Smaller athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Very good runner, 6.68 in the sixty. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide base with an aggressive upper body driven swing, pull to mid field contact, was well timed and found some barrels. Pretty polished outfielder on defense, fields the ball cleanly and has a quick transition into his throws, makes accurate one-hop throws with good carry, centerfield skills and tools with his speed.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
