Tyler Huneycutt is a 2019 SS/2B, 3B with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Denton, TX who attends Ryan. Medium frame with long limbs and a lean build. Frame projects to support additional strength. Primary shortstop with clean footwork while ranging to and surrounding the baseball. Fluid glove actions while funneling the baseball and worked through transfer well. Throws produced accurate carry across the infield topping at 75 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with a spread, slightly open stance. Lower half works to contact with rotational actions. Loose, extended hand path to baseball with an uphill barrel plane through extension. Stays balanced throughout and consistently lifted the baseball between the gaps. Baseball flashed some jump with carry off the barrel when squared. Good student as well.
