Austin Arey is a 2019 3B/3B/SS with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Rowlett, TX who attends Rowlett HS. Medium build with plenty of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, big hanging leg raise trigger, foot doesn't always get down in time, middle of the field line drive approach, has some beginning bat speed that will continue to improve with additional strength. 7.76 runner, has good balance and footwork in the infield, charges the ball well with clean pick ups, some arm strength across the diamond. Also pitched, steady mid-70's velocity with a short curveball. Good student.
