Cameron Ostmark is a 2020 OF/RHP, 1B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from West Jordan, UT who attends Copper Hills. Medium frame with a lean build. Projects for additional strength. Primary outfielder with clean, fluid footwork while closing to and working through the baseball. Funnels out front and worked through exchange well. Maintained momentum toward the bag while releasing from a three-quarter slot. Throws produced accurate, on line carry to the bag topping at 82 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with a slightly crouched, open stance and simple leg lift trigger. Produced some linear shift into contact with lower half. Direct hand path to baseball with a line drive barrel plane through extension. Flashed present bat speed through the zone with strength at contact when squared. Consistently looked to lift the baseball with intent to the middle of the field between the gaps. Also pitched working exclusively from the stretch. Simple leg lift and stayed balanced at gather. Clean arm circle and released from a high three-quarters slot. Fastball created solid downhill plane with slight run in the mid 70's, topped at 77 miles per hour. Tends to slow arm speed slightly with a slider offering that generated solid sweep to glove side in the upper 60's. Displayed good command for slider with the ability to land for strikes in positive and negative counts. Good student.
