Nick Nolan is a 2022 LHP/1B with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Georgetown, TX who attends Georgetown. Medium build with plenty of room to fill out as he continues to develop. Primary pitcher, has a longer arm action from a high three-quarters slot. Conventional motion that stays balanced and on line down the hill. Fastball up to 78 mph with an 11-to-5 shaped breaking ball that possesses good depth. Also mixes in a sinking 64 mph changeup that compliments his fastball well. At first base, he has good feel for his footwork and his fielding actions are fluid to and through the baseball. Glove work is solid to both sides and throws are accurate to all bags. At the plate, uses an upright and open stance with a small stride trigger. Barrel works hard down to the hitting zone. Consistently works his hands to the inside half of the baseball. Excellent student in the classroom as well.
