William O'Quinn is a 2023 RHP/OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from McDonough, GA who attends Ola. Primary right-handed pitcher with a medium frame and slender build. Windup start from the middle of the rubber with an inverted front foot and even feet base. Small side-step to compress the slab with a waist-high leg lift and medium arm circle behind. Quick short-arm 3/4 slot and deceptive delivery that makes the fastball velocity play up with a solid breaking ball with a two-plane break. Breaking ball has tight spin when he gets out over his front side with the short-arm slot. Secondary Outfield position with 78 mph throws to the bases with a deliberate two-hand gather and accurate alignment. Present athleticism in the outfield with a 7.04 second 60-yard dash time. Right-handed hitter with an even base and hanging leg lift stride. Impact to the middle and opposite field with a high-barrel finish and line drive stroke. Stays within his frame and showed solid weight transfer with backside release through the zone. Excellent student with a 4.0 GPA.
