Gage Tomlin is a 2022 C/1B with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Statesville, NC who attends Combine Academy. Large frame with a strong build. Ran a 7.59 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, has a good low setup, repeats his actions well and gains good ground into his throws; uses a clean a compact arm action with carry on his throws. Righthanded hitter, sets up wide with a low hand set and a small shift into contact; works short to the ball with good present hand-eye coordination, leverages his hands and uses strength to get the ball in the air and drive it to either gap. Very good student.
