Logan Floyd is a 2023 1B/RHP/3B with a 5-11 187 lb. frame from Adairsville, GA who attends Darlington. Stocky strong build. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a leg raise trigger, has a short uphill swing with good strength and present bat speed, looking to pull and lift the ball, best when he's getting fully extended through contact, has the strength to continue to develop as a hitter. 7.52 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, has quick feet in his turns, makes accurate throws, fields the ball cleanly, solid overall defensive actions. Also pitched, has a compact delivery with a good body turn over the rubber, high 3/4's arm slot. Filled up the zone with mid-70's fastballs and mixed in an occasional curveball and slider, effective outing. Excellent student.
