Jake Rutkowski is a 2023 3B/RHP, MIF, OF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Lawrenceville, GA who attends Collins Hill. Medium, athletic build with present strength in lower half already. Recorded a 7.30 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary third basemen, plays up on his toes with clean footwork, builds some momentum up behind throws. Longer arm action with a quick release, recorded at 75 miles per hour across the diamond. Secondary pitcher with a repeatable delivery, simple operation with side-rocker into waist-high leg lift, lands toward the third base side of landing area, causing to throw across body at times. Fastball some arm side run to it, working in down in the strike zone, was up to 80 miles per hour, ranging more between 75-80 miles per hour. Breaking ball showed good depth on it, as he was able to throw it early in counts for strikes. At times would tip his breaking ball, slowing his arm down just enough to where it's noticeable. Right-handed hitter starts with a high-hand set and high back elbow with a quick toe-tap-trigger to get going. Generates some bat speed with an uphill swing plane ending with a high finish. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
