William Alvarez is a 2024 SS/3B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Miami, FL w ho attends Westminster Christian. Large frame with athletic, physical build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.08 seconds. Hits from balanced stance with even base, leg lift trigger, gets barrel on plane well and extends through contact, can create backspin to all fields, performed well in game with repeated hard barrels, has the makings of a high level bat. Worked out in the infield, keeps feet moving and shows good footwork in any direction, moves well laterally, quick hands out front with clean actions, works through, clocked up to 81 mph across.
