Angelo Aprea is a 2027 C/3B/UT with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Needville, TX who attends Needville. Large, athletic frame with present strength and additional room to fill moving forward. Ran a 7.56 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, starts with one knee down in drills, does a nice job of gaining ground out of crouch towards intended target, pops quickly out of crouch, shows arm strength down to second base, 2.00 pop time, showed accuracy and carry to second throwing from knees as well. Two handed funnel in the infield dirt out front, deliberate actions and will continue to refine moving forward, shows some lateral range, carry on throws across, tools play at the corner. Right-handed hitter, begins with a balanced set up in the box, low back elbow, small rock back into load and strides well into contact. Present bat speed through the zone with a linear path to the point of contact, consistent stroke with occasional lift. Comfort working to the middle of the field, short to hte ball with a longer finish, swings with intent.
